2021 Honda Ridgeline
Japanese automaker Honda has not made pickup trucks for America before the Ridgeline. Having first arrived here in 2006, this truck is often described as a Pilot with a truck bed. Honda has addressed the elephant in the room by making certain design changes for 2021. This is the only Honda vehicle that gets a cargo bed. The 2021 Honda Ridgeline not only gets a powerful V6 under the hood but also delivers excellent mileage, often unheard of amongst such vehicles. It is focused more on comfort than on off-roading and towing options.
Trims to Choose From
Buyers will look to select from four trims of the 2021 Honda Ridgeline, the names of which are mentioned below:
The RTL provides an excellent balance between desirable equipment and value here. Expect the 2021 Honda Ridgeline to be available with AWD (All-Wheel Drive). With comfort getting a lot of importance in this pickup, any buyer will be happy while traveling long distances.
How Does it Look From the Outside?
The whole front fascia has been changed on the 2021 Honda Ridgeline, with the aim to make it stand out after many customers complained of it looking too similar to the Pilot. Projector headlights and LED daytime running lamps are present on the Sport trim, with it being surrounded by a top bar running from one end of the hood to the other. Along with the black grille, there is also more black treatment at the front. Functional side curtains are visible on the lower fascia, along with fog lamps.
Expect to see a simulated skid plate at the bottom of the bumper. Ground clearance is more in comparison to the Ford Ranger Tremor. Simple body lines are present on the hood. Side fenders have been flared with certain packages on the Sport. Newer and larger 18-inch wheels with rugged tire patterns can be seen on the sides. Gloss black side mirrors are present here.
Looks from the side to the rear have been completed with side steps and roof rails. Brand new dual exhausts are present at the back. A 5.3-inch truck bed is available for this pickup, with under-the-bed storage.
Beneath the Hood
A naturally aspirated 3.5 liter V6 engine with 280 hp of power and 262 lb-ft of torque is present within the 2021 Honda Ridgeline. Power is sent to all four wheels with the help of a 9-speed automatic gearbox. This powerful engine is also very silent, which makes it ideal for long trips. Customers will love the excellent ride quality here, delivered with help from the Ridgeline’s soft suspension. 0-60 mph comes up in 7.2 seconds and towing capacity stands at 5000 pounds.
