As one of the most efficient vehicles on the road, the 2013 Honda Fit EV aims to keep costs low while producing zero emissions. Finding a more efficient way to draw power from an electrical grid, however, is something that still needs a bit of work. Honda is diligently working on a solution however, and they've taken big steps forward, teaming with IBM and PG&E to develop newer, efficient ways to charge an electric car.

More Muscle For the Civic Si

The all new Honda Civic has returned with its two-door Civic Si sports variation.

Released at the 2011 New York International Auto Show, this high-performance Si borrows a muscle-car trick to boost its performance. Si implements a 2.4-liter four cylinder engine, which one could call a "2.4 a big block" as the hot rodders would say.

It's comparable to what General Motors did over 45 years ago when it placed a full-sized car engine into its mid-size Pontiac Tempest. Because of this it began the GTO and 1960's muscle-car movement.

2012 Honda Civic Si Gets a Beefed up Engine

The Honda Civic Si is nothing to scoff at. It packs a 197-horsepower (hp) 2.0-liter engine that delivers 139 lb.-ft. of torque. Honda, however, doesn't think that's good enough. So, they're dropping a larger, more powerful 2.4-liter engine in the forthcoming 2012 model.

Available starting spring2011, the 2012 Honda Civic Si offers greater hp, and significantly more torque. Expected ratings are 200 and 170 respectively. For torque, that's a jaw-dropping 22-percent increase over last year's model!

Worried this upgrade will hit your wallet hard in the long run? Well, don't be…

Honda CR-Z EX, Green and Mean

At the Tokyo Motor Show in 2007 Honda shared their CR-Z concept car with the world, the design and idea behind the eco-friendly coupe was so simple and flawless that Honda barely changed it for the model going on sale August 24th.

The CR-Z's look is very original, not stealing much from other Honda vehicles. It has an expansive glass rear hatch that seems to extend half the length of the vehicle, almost as…
