We here at Midlands Honda know that the Big H is lauded for their stellar design choices, which is why we so proudly feature models like the Odyssey, Civic Hybrid, and Crosstour on our lot. So when Honda said that they would be manufacturing a new minicar for the ever-growing crowd of eco-conscious drivers, it goes without saying that we were intrigued to say the least.

We'll start off simply by saying that we've not been disappointed. We should also note that the Japanese automaker's new minicar is currently only set to be released in Japan, but that doesn't mean that it won't make its way Stateside someday.

Now onto the fun part... Known as the Honda N Box, the new Japanese-made minicar features an envious fuel economy within its class, a solid build quality, and most importantly, the kind of iconic styling that Honda is known for. In case the name didn't give it away, the Honda N Box is... well... boxy in its design. The vehicle features a body similar to the competition's Soul or Cube, though it features it in a much smaller package. Add on to that, the fact that the Honda N Box is made from 90 percent recycles materials, and you have a green minicar that more than fulfills the requirements of its class.

Of course, just because the Honda N Box is a minicar in every sense of the word, that doesn't mean that it has to abide by every convention of the segment. For instance, the N Box is also a four-door model, which is something that other vehicles in the minicar segment often lack. Furthermore, Honda is claiming that the N Box will feature a larger interior than any other minicar on the road today.
