At Midlands Honda, we know that it is never wise to judge a book by its cover... Or in this case, an EV by its name. We're of course, speaking of the new electric vehicle that Honda recently unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor Show in Germany.

The electric vehicle has been name the Honda EV Concept for the moment. Real exciting, we know. But, what is actually exciting about this new EV from our favorite Japanese automaker is... we... everything else!

Honda EV Concept at a glance

- Max Speed: 90 miles per hour (hr)

- Production Schedule: Not 100-percent official yet, but likely next year when Honda launches their next-generation two-motor hybrid system

The new Honda EV Concept is actually based in some aspects on the Honda Fit, which is available for a test drive here at 124 Killian Commons Parkway Columbia, SC 29203. Rated at an estimated 27 mpg city/33 mpg highway, the current Honda Fit is a stylish, efficient, and all around versatile vehicle that you're sure to love. In its uncanny resemblance to the Fit, some have taken it upon themselves to call the new EV the Honda Fit Electric or Honda Fit Hybrid. We think these names have a nice ring to them, but we also know that Honda must have something slightly more creative up their sleeves in the naming department.
